End of Year Updates:

  • The last day that teachers gave new assignments or assessments was Friday, May 22.
  • Students will have until Friday, May 29 to complete and turn in any school work from fourth quarter.
  • Students will be allowed to come to the school in small groups for their year-end checkout. We ask that parents sign up for a time slot using Skyward’s conference scheduler for their students to come into the school for check-out.

How to reserve a time slot:

  1. Go to
  2. Under the “Parents” drop-down menu, click “Skyward - Family Access” and log in with your parent log-in.
  3. On the left hand side, under the "Home" tab, scroll down to "Conferences."
  4. Select "All Conferences."
  5. Select a time for your student to attend by clicking “join.” (Parents do not need to come with their student).

Before your student’s appointment, please take care of any existing fines online. You may pay them on Skyward.

What will your student do during check-out?

  1. Return their Chromebook and its charger. Fines may be assessed for lost or damaged devices. (Chromebook replacement is $285; charger replacement is $20.)
  2. Return any textbooks.
  3. Return any library books.
  4. Empty out your hall locker.
  5. Empty out your gym locker.
  6. Return band instruments (as applicable).
  7. Pick up your memory book. If you did not buy a memory book, but would like to buy one now, the PTSA will be selling them for $30.
  8. In addition, students may bring in their Tracks Tender cards to purchase prizes from the school store. And yes, there will be some sweet vinyl records in the school store.

If you have any questions, please call the school at 801-412-1000. Thanks, and make it a great day!

Just because the libraries are closed doesn't mean you can't check out books! Students can access Sora to listen to audiobooks and read ebooks on a Chromebook, desktop, tablet, laptop or phone.

If you have not yet already downloaded the Sora app, here are the instructions:

  1. Search for on a Chromebook or computer (or download the Sora app from an app store on a phone).
  2. Click on "I have a setup code." Type Jordanut
  3. Enter your student ID (lunch number)

That's it!

Sora has many great features:

  • View ebooks as an exact copy of the printed book, or adjust the font type (including dyslexic font), font size, and lighting in most books.
  • Listen to audiobooks at an increased narration speed up to 3 times. Customize a sleep timer for a certain time or stop at the end of the chapter.
  • Sync between devices. Listen or read on your phone, then your Chromebook then computer. It remembers where you left off!
  • You can also access all audiobooks and ebooks in the Salt Lake County Library System by entering your Salt Lake County Library card number.
